Anyways, it works great for my PS3, so, I can say it was worth eight dollars. This is a great purchase. Considering I would have paid 90 to a hundred dollars elsewhere for it, $8 is a bargain.
anyone who buys a 6ft hdmi cable for $30 or more in a store instead of this one is crazy
Great price; no complaints and showed up on time. Great long cable, great for dvi computer connection.
The minute I swapped the cable out, everything was fine. I turned on the units one day and poof--"no signal". Really not sure why it stopped working. I've never touched the cable since I first hooked everything up a month and a half ago. It's in the back of my tv connected to my cable box.
I use it to connect a Toshiba SD-6100 Upconversion DVD player to a Mitsubishi HC1600 Home Theatre projector. The result is spectacular: beautiful colours, sharp images, 16:9 widescreen, upconversion to 1080i,.
I have a 6 feet Belkin Pure/AV HDMI cable (much more expensive) and I'd say that its connectors are "stronger" than that of this Link Depot cable. However I have to wait and see whether the cable and its connectors are durable and reliable.
At first I was a little skeptical about the quality of this cable, now I realize that I was wrong. (Note that I didn't use this cable with 1080p resolution because my projector doesn't support 1080p).
However, I'd say that the quality of the images produced by the Link Depot cable matches with that of the Belkin cable. The cable works fine.
The cable has no problem to support the 1080i resolution.
