Do NOT waste your money on 'Brand Name' HDMI or even HDMI cables sold at retail stores. First cable received was defective. If the signal gets through whether you spend $5 or $100 the function is the same and so is the image. A digital signal is an 'All or Nothing' proposition. I contacted the vendor by email and the product was replaced quickly without question and without an RMA needed. The second cable performs flawlessly.
the quality is very good. i have a 40 inch flat screen plasma and i watch movies very often from my laptop. i wasnt expecting much for the price of the cable, and being that the longer it is the worse the quality of the picture is transmitted (or at least supposed to be). but i was very very surprised to find that they work perfectly.
Don't pay for the expensive cables, these work just fine. We've interchanged them with no changes to the picture. I have this cable hooked up to a Dish Network HDTV receiver and my $2000 HDTV. I have an "expensive cable" on my secondary HDTV and you can not tell the difference.
And you get the same quality no difference. kick yourself and call yourself stupid cause i did when i bought these cables. GREAT GREAT GREAT. now i bought two of these cables and a coupling and use it to change my computer over to my 56" inch tv (to watch movies). if you were the person that went out and spent 50,60,90+ dollars on cables because they are "monster gold plated" cables then we are in it together. I actually tested these against a pair of expensive cables (that i already had).
I AM SURE IT WILL SERVE ITS PURPOSE WELL. I PERSONALLY PURCHASED THIS ITEM FOR INSTALLATION OF OUR FLAT SCREEN TV.
